The main reason my wife and I visited Belfast from Scotland was to come to Flout! After seeing this place on FRC I was desperate to get my greedy chops around a few of those sexy pies! The opening times are very unusual at 12-2pm Wednesday to Saturday. I think sometimes they stay open a little longer and they are starting to do Friday nights but best to check their socials for updates and daily specials. I quite like the uniqueness of their opening times, maybe not the most practical for customers, but to me, it’s a sign they are focussing on quality. We prepared for a queue so got there early. A line outside formed within no time. Thankfully we were near the front. Once the doors opened it wasn’t long before we had our pizzas in front of us. The service was quick and efficient and staff were able to explain in detail what was in each pie. We got a piece of the spicy kings, pimped cheese, a daily special which had jalapeño and sausage mince, and we also got some focaccia. Along with the pizzas we got some craic ranch and a chilli honey. Starting with the spicy kings. I’ve had Edinburgh’s best Detroit style pizza before but this one topped it by a mile. It wasn’t as oily as I’ve had in the past and tasted unreal. Crisp outer with a soft, juicy and full of flavour centre. The chilli honey went incredibly well with this pizza. My wife is not great with cheese so we asked for the pimped cheese without the extra Parmesan. We both really enjoyed it. Again, it was full of flavour and the pizza was very thick and soft. The jalapeño and sausage pizza (can’t remember the actual name) was also very good. A bit too spicy for my wife but I loved it. The tomato base in all the pizzas are high quality and same with the cheese. The time and attention to detail makes a huge difference. Finally, we saved the focaccia for later. I’ve often found focaccia being quite stale and hard once left for a few hours. But not only did this focaccia remain soft and springy after a few hours but it also remained fresh the following day. I couldn’t quite believe it but the sourdough focaccia with overnight marinara and pickled chillis was incredible +24 hours purchase. The craic ranch was delicious as well. Flout! also supply Mexican glass bottle cokes if you fancy a cane sugar coke. Overall, I enjoyed this place more than my wife because of the cheese but even she still liked it. It’s sad that I’ll likely not be back in a while because I would love to try their other offerings. 100% up there for one of the best pizzas I’ve tasted. What makes this place stand out is the overall package they provide, like the change of menu, freshness of ingredients, fair price, and the care and attention they put into each pizza. I would love to try one of their thin crusts so I’ll need to come back at some point. Thank you Flout!, as expected, you delivered!

Flout! has become an internet legend after several reviews on YouTube, and is putting itself on the map as a pizza place to visit when you're in Belfast. I'm happy to report it does really live up to the hype! The owner, Pete, is self-taught, and has developed his own unique take on many of the famous styles such as New York, New Haven, Detroit etc. Since starting the team has grown to several more staff members, all of whom are dedicated to ensuring you have a great experience. When you order your pizza, it's taken back to the oven to crisp your slice up to ensure that it tastes as good as possible, and it's small touches like this that make it as good as it is. You had better arrive early though, Flout!'s increasing fame means that the queues for pizza can get quite long! It's well earned though, as if you can get it this is probably the best pizza in Belfast.

Finally managed to visit Flout after hearing great things about the business when visiting family in Belfast. Oh. My. God. Best pizza I’ve had, easily. You can see the hard work and passion the team puts into making these creations and they’re just incredible. I started queuing ten minutes before opening and once they opened it was pretty quick getting inside and getting served. Ordered a few different slices and each one was unbelievable, definitely worth the flight over.

The place for pizza in Belfast. They are open only a few hours a week and you have to queue up to get a slice but trust me it is worth it. They put so much work, effort and creativity in the food here that it's understandable that they only open for a limited time. Please make more of the Mush'Luv pizza 😍

1 star reviewers must look forward to a goodfellas deep pan on the weekend. Hands down best pizza I’ve eaten, maybe enough of a reason to visit Belfast alone. Yeah, there’s queues, must be doing something right! Life goes on.

10/10! We are so lucky to live right around the corner from here! Yes the slices cost more than what people who order from pizza chains would be used to but this pizza is absolutely no comparison! If that's the standard you want then there are many places that do it well. flout is offering unique pizzas that you really won't find anywhere else! EVERYTHING made from scratch! The dough takes days before it's ready, the love and effort put into these pizzas is evident! Keep up the amazing work! My partner (a chef) and I love your pizza and accept that it's a treat every now and then when we have the time to queue up and enjoy it! I even bought some slices for him as a 10th anniversary present and you'd have thought I bought him a car or something!

Having followed Flout!’s journey for a number of months (from a distance) I was bursting to get down and finally try a slice or two. From queuing outside waiting for the doors to open to land the freshest of slices, to ordering, sitting in to feast and everything in between, I loved every single moment. Flout! is more than just pizza, it’s an experience. Having tried all the big names on the island, Flout! is head and shoulders above the competition. As a bit of a NYC pizza connoisseur, Flout! stands on its feet, shoulders back, chest out and declares itself as another legendary slice shop. Get yourself down and you’ll find your next favourite foodie spot!

Exceptionally good pizza, great people and a general feel good vibe in the store. The pizzas are probably the best I’ve ever tried. Just enough different topping options to keep things interesting and a quick moving queue that is worth the wait. Thoroughly enjoy everything about Flout every time I go!
